Big Frame Partnering with Rally.org to Fundraise for Five Charities
Big Frame announced today that MysteryGuitarMan, BrizzyVoices, AuParis, E-LizzieBooks, and Mikeytheplaypus have filmed campaigns raising funds for separate charities through one single hub on Rally.org/BigFrame. Big Frame brings the support of over 3.2 billion views on YouTube and hopes to translate that into huge donations for worthy causes. In addition to the first five campaigns, more Big Frame stars will also announce their projects in the coming months.
In the meantime, though, MysteryGuitarMan’s focus is on San Francisco’s Medic Mobile and their efforts to expand access to public healthcare abroad. AuParis and E-LizzieBooks have both chosen animal-oriented groups, though AuParis’ donations to Heifer International sends help abroad and E-LizzieBooks’ efforts will benefit her local Atlanta Human Society. Operation Smile provides surgery for children with cleft lips and palates and will benefit from the vocal work of BrizzyVoices. Finally, Davidoutt, Mikey The Platypus, PJ Scott-Blankenship, Hanksterchen, and ElloSteph are raising funds to fight homo- and transphobia on campuses across the nation through the work of the GayStraight Alliance Network.
The announcement follows in the footsteps of Laina’s (Overly Attached Girlfriend) twofold efforts to fundraise for Surf Camp on Rally.org with the help of her Dare to Share YouTube series. But it also falls into a larger trend of crowdfunding video projects like Chill’s “Vigilante Diaries” and My Damn Channel’s “Love Me Cat” Kickstarter campaign.Tags: AuParis, Big Frame, BrizzyVoices, E-LizzieBooks, MysteryGuitarMan, Rally.org, youtube
