Vine Released for Android Users
With the strength of over 13 million iOS users behind Vine, Twitter announced today that the ability to create and share six-second looping videos is finally available on Google Play to Android users with versions 4.0 or higher. Furthermore, the Android app has a unique zoom feature that iOS users probably won’t be getting for a while.
Since it’s the first version of the app, Vine also warned that the coming weeks will include frequent updates as minor bugs become transparent and the development team makes progress toward getting the Android version synced to the iOS one. Some of those updates will also include front-facing camera support, search, mentions, hashtags, and Facebook sharing, but releases will most likely be staggered.Tags: Android, twitter, updates, Vine
