WIGS’ Julia Stiles-Driven ‘Blue’ Moved to Hulu Today

/ Jun 18, 2013

The first two seasons of WIGS’ “Blue” migrated to Hulu and Hulu Plus in a new TV-length format today, though their original format remains available on WIGS. It’s the first product of Fox Broadcasting Company’s agreement with WIGS back in February, made still more interesting by the fact that Fox’s owners, News Corporation, also own a part of Hulu.

“Blue” follows Julia Stiles as a single mother shielding her son from her secret career as an upscale escort, and has already surpassed 20 million YouTube views as WIGS’ most popular drama. Further series will also be added to Hulu in the coming weeks in a similarly elongated TV-length format, including “Lauren,” starring Troian Bellisario and Jennifer Beals, and “Jan,” featuring Caitlin Gerard, Stephen Moyer and Virginia Madsen.

Besides continuing their support of WIGS on YouTube, American Express and Unilever have also committed to the same support on Hulu. We reviewed season two of “Blue” back in April.
