Agency Shakedown! WME and CAA Lose Digital Agents to MCNs
Agents from two of the top agencies in Hollywood are heading to the world of YouTube multi-channel networks.
Beau Bryant, a digital media agent at William Morris Endeavor since 2006, is leaving the agency to join Fullscreen, one of the largest MCNs on YouTube. According to sources familiar with the matter, Bryant would essentially replace the role vacated by Larry Shapiro, who recently left Fullscreen for AwesomenessTV/Big Frame, and grow the the company’s talent management business. To be clear, though, this appears to be a separate position, which Fullscreen was looking to fill prior to Shapiro’s departure last month.
Bryant currently reps a significant roster of digital talent including Rosanna Pansino, Grace Helbig, Chester See, Lilly Singh, The Fine Bros., and The Brothers Riedell. Helbig and The Fine Brothers are already “networked” with Fullscreen; however Singh is currently with Collective Digital Studios, and Pansino with Kin Community.
VideoInk has also confirmed that CAA’s Sarah Passe has departed the agency for Kin Community (formerly Deca). Passe will hold seat in the newly created role of vice president of business development.Tags: Agency, Beau Bryant, CAA, DECA, fullscreen, Kin Community, New Hire, Sarah Passe, Talent Agency, WME
