The 10 Most-Subscribed Toy Review Channels on YouTube

/ Dec 5, 2014

Kinder Surprise Top Toy Channels YouTube

The top toy channels on YouTube, as compiled and ranked by Tubular Labs, should provide parents of young ones with more than a clue of what to get their kids this holiday season. While most of these channels focus on “unboxing” (popularly expressed in the form of Kinder Surprise Eggs), others take a more out-of-the-box (no pun intended) approach to showcasing toys, such as EvanTubeHD and Vat19.

However, it seems as if the traditional toy review style reigns supreme, as the top channel’s held its position there for some time. Take a look at which channel tops the ranking at number one…but first you’ll have to open a lot of Kinder Eggs.

Note: Subscriber data in this article is as of December 1.

10. LuckyPennyShop

  • Total Subs: 944,305

This toy review channel stands out for its free toy giveaways and other prizes. Narrated by a man and his puppets (including the “retro” Alph), LuckyPennyShop spans the decades, featuring Happy Meal toys of yore…

9. Surprise Eggs Unboxing Toys

  • Total Subs: 968,733

Focusing on what’s inside Kinder Surprise Eggs, this channel also has a strong focus on Play Doh and other popularity kids’ toys with longevity, like Barbies.

8. EvanTubeHD

  • Total Subs: 984,878

As described by Evan himself, this creator does “toy reviews with special effects” and specializes in “family friendly” content. In addition to reviews, this channel includes sketches revolving around family life.

7. Vat19

  • Total Subs: 1,040,855

This channel, clearly led by adults, showcases more out-there toy concepts like magnetic putty and six-foot helium soccer balls. There’s also a scientific element to the way this channel showcases toys, like with the “world’s largest gummy bear”:

6. Disney Cars Toy Club DCTC

  • Total Subs: 1,096,694

Kinger Surprise Eggs and Plah Doh also feature heavily in this YouTube channel along with other usual toy suspects like Disney’s “Frozen” characters and Pixar’s “Cars” franchise.

5. DisneyCarToys

  • Total Subs: 1,165,001

Similar to the previous channel, this one focuses on the most popular kids’ toys of today, the twist being that one of the channel’s main reviewers constantly wears a Spiderman costume in their videos. Here’s one they did that follows in the Kinger Surprise tradition, but in a more Christmas-geared fashion:

4. TuTiTuTV

  • Total Subs: 1,328,160

Aimed at much younger kids (age range: two to three years), this channel offers captivating 3D animation. Well, I’m sure it’s captivating if you’re two or three years old. Lots of the channel’s videos include songs and some even offer education content, like this video that translates names of toys from English to Japanese:

3. BluCollection ToyCollector

  • Total Subs: 1,363,903

The multilingual channel includes videos narrated in English, Portuguese, and Spanish “for toddlers, babies, infants, and preschool children.” However, this creator needn’t rely on too much language, as his toy demonstrations tend to show more than tell.

2. RRcherrypie Group

  • Total Subs: 1,569,361

This channel’s distinct style of zero talking lets viewers focus diligently on the toys at hand. Most of the items explored focus on miniatures and sometimes edible, but more often inedible, food, and the channel is very adamant about the fact that it does not have a Twitter page or any sort of public gender identity.

1. DC Toys Collector

  • Total Subs: 3,055,904

Another classically formatted toy review channel, this one has a slightly heavier focus on dolls, particularly female ones. Peppa Pig and Play Doh are other toy favorites on the channel.
