5 Emerging Fitness Channels on YouTube
You’ll often hear people complain about how they just don’t have the time, extra income, whatever to attend workout classes or, say, have a personal trainer. YouTube’s fitness channels offer a very practical alternative–free instruction that’s completely on your watch.
However, fitness on the video platform doesn’t begin and end with the videos alone. As Casey Ernsting, social strategist at DigitasLBi puts it, “Video is often just the start of the fitness conversation for these channels. Comment sections fuel the personal health discussion with feedback, questions and answers often provided by other YouTube users.”
As communities grow from these discussions, the fitness vertical on YouTube keeps evolving. Since it’s unlikely that the parade of health fads will ever end, there’s always something new to discuss re: fitness, and viewers can feel reassured that a YouTuber they feel personally connected with will help them navigate the trends.
