Scene + Heard: 2014 Sundance Film Festival

After more than 10 days of film screenings, deal-making, and fun in the snow, the 2014 Sundance Film Festival is coming to a close.

More so than previous years, it felt like the digital industry was out in full force at this year’s festivities in Park City, Utah. From YouTube hosting various sessions at “YouTube on Main Street” and presenting the Short Film Awards, to the Salt Lake City Gala Premiere of the Netflix original documentary “Mitt,” to Vimeo announcing its exclusive distribution deals with several independent filmmakers, to Indiegogo partnering with VHX and Yekra to help crowdfunding-supported films find distribution, digital creators and platforms were not Strangers in a Strange Land when it came to Sundance.

To mark the occasion, and really just to relive some of the fun that we had (or if you weren’t there, to see what you missed), here is a quick photo recap of what went down at YouTube on Main Street, which was the place for the digital and entertainment worlds to hang.
