Marketing Trends To Keep An Eye On: Magnet Minute (Video)
This week on the “Magnet Minute,” Amy goes over some key marketing trends to keep an eye on as you start your 2014 strategy, inspired by 20 Captivating Marketing Solutions published by WebDAM Solutions.
First, let’s talk budget. For 2014, marketing teams are planning to spend a collective $135 billion on digital marketing collateral, which is a huge testament to how digital strategies are changing and expanding within companies. It also highlights the now indisputable importance of multimedia integration.
When thinking about email marketing, it’s important to note that there’s a click-through rate of 158% on emails with social media share buttons. This seems to indicate that if you provide people with interesting content via email, and with easy ways to share that content socially, they’ll do it.
B2B companies that blog find that they get 67% more leads than the ones that don’t blog. This makes sense. Consider how many businesses are routinely looking for information about their own industry and about how to perform better online. If your company provides those resources via a blog, it’s an effective way to gain B2B attention and (hopefully) conversions, too.
This is the last one, but it’s a big one: 65% of your audience members are visual learners. So stop being so wordy with your content and make it more visually appealing. It’s the best way to get people looking your way and paying attention.
