And the Nominees for the 2015 International Digital Emmys Are…
This year, the MIP Digital Fronts will kick off by honoring winners of the International Digital Emmy Awards. The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences just announced the 12 nominees across three digital categories–children and young people, fiction, and non-fiction.
Nominees come from Brazil, Germany, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and the UK. You can check out the full list below.
During opening night of MIP Digital Fronts (Monday, April 13), three of these 12 nominees will be presented with Emmys at the Grand Hyatt Martinez Hotel in Cannes.
All nominated shows will also screen at MIPCube, which is sponsored by the Bell Fund of Canada, which offers grants to indie Canadian producers of digital video. The nominees will be there, too, so fans can meet the digital series’ creators.
