A+E Networks TV Everywhere App Now on Amazon Fire TV
A+E Networks’ TV Everywhere apps are now available on the Amazon Fire TV, just as the apps crossed the 22 million download milestone. The ad-supported apps now operate on iOS, Android, Roku, Xbox, Apple TV, and Kindle Fire/Amazon Fire TV.
A+E’s apps offer on-demand access to programming from A&E, History, and Lifetime, ranging from full episodes of TV shows and movies on those channels to app-only clips. Shows featured on the apps include “Project Runway,” “Bates Motel,” and “Devious Maids” among many others across the network.
As for the device distribution of the TV Everywhere apps, the majority has taken place on Apple TV, which accounts for 47% of the 22 million downloads. Meanwhile, Roku accounts for 39% of downloads while Xbox takes 14%.
