Amazon to Debut First Live-Action Original Kids Series in November
Children’s show “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street” will debut on Amazon Prime Friday, November 21 in the US. The release will mark the first live-action, original show for kids on the premium content platform.
“Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street” came as a result of Amazon’s “open-door” policy with new series pilots. David Anaxagoras, a pre-school teacher, wrote this as his first series, which Luke Matheny executive produced. Anaxagoras also co-executive produced along with Richard G. King.
Actors in the “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life” include Sloane Morgan Siegel, Ashley Boettcher, Drew Justice, and Robyn Lively. They play characters in an average, suburban setting…that turns out to be perhaps less average than it appears at first glance.
Amazon Prime members can watch the series when it comes out anywhere you can stream Amazon video content. “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life” will also be available through Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, the company’s kid-focused subscription service.Tags: Amazon, amazon original series, amazon prime, Amazon Prime Instant Video, Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street, kids, Kids Series
