‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’ Gets Its Own Live Feed on Animal Planet Live
Ahead of the sixth season of Animal Planet’s “Pit Bulls and Parolees,” the Discovery-owned network’s live-streaming network, Animal Planet Live, is debuting a new channel that will provide a feed of the dog shelter featured in the show.
This is the first time a live stream on Animal Planet Live is directly tied to one of the network’s TV shows.
Launching this week, the new channel will spotlight the lives of the dogs at the shelter, as well as the caretakers who look after them and the families who eventually adopt them. The camera is perched in the lobby of the Villalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans, where potential adopters meet with center’s founder and owner Tia Torres and their potential next pets.
Overall, Animal Planet Live has more than 20 live cameras, and is available online and across mobile and connected-TV devices, including Xbox, Roku, and select Samsung Smart TVs.Tags: Animal Planet, Animal Planet Live, Discovery Communications, live streaming, Pets, Pit Bulls and Parolees
