AOL has launched the second season of “Hardwired,” the tech-review series hosted by Justine Ezarik. The show, which takes a look at the latest and most interesting tech products and trends, will tackle 3D printing and food tech, among other industrial and consumer tech devices. Spanning 10 seasons, new episodes will air on AOL On every Wednesday.

Ezarik, better known as iJustine, is a prominent creator and tech personality, with more than 1.9 million subscribers on her main YouTube channel.

“Hardwired” was one of four shows from AOL’s 2013 original programming slate that was renewed by the company in advance of its 2014 Digital Content NewFront. Like the first season, the second one will be sponsored by Verizon.

A previous version of this post pegged Ezarik’s YouTube subscriber count at 1.9 fillion, which is not a real number but should be. It could mean that 1.9 Nathan Fillions are following Ezarik, for example.

I find it curious that AOL continues to promote this show as if it’s on a TV network. You would have thought AOL would have learned from the Netflix and Amazon Prime’s of the world and made all the content available at once. Curious how this strategy will affect the views of ‘Hardwired’ on a week to week basis.

Agree that scheduled viewing is tough, but do we ever get the numbers anyways!? 😉 Even if they are impacted, nobody will ever know since it’s not required to have performance transparency.
