AOL Sets Premiere Dates for Fall Shows Starring Nicole Richie, Zoe Saldana, Others

AOL has released its web series lineup for this fall, including series returns along with some new programming on the network, featuring big Hollywood names like Zoe Saldana and Kevin Nealon.

First up, “Laugh Lessons with Kevin Nealon,” which will premiere online on October 6. Spanning 12 episodes, the show will provide instructions on comedic performances, welcoming guests like Adam Sandler and Sarah Silverman. Carnival Cruise Lines is sponsoring the show, which is produced by Ellen DeGeneres’s A Very Good Production.

Next, the second season of “#CandidlyNicole” will debut on October 9. The second season of the show will feature appearances from the likes of Ryan Seacrest and Rashida Jones. Executive produced by Richie herself and Michael Baum, the TV version of the show was picked up by VH1 earlier this year.

On October 10, “True Trans with Laura Jane Grace” will go live on AOL, following the titular woman, singer in the band Against Me! Grace is trans and the series explores her life, including her decision to come out.

The Future Starts Here” marks another show that’s returning for a second season on AOL. Hosted by Tiffany Shlain, filmmaker and founder of the Webby Awards, the series takes a look at how the digital world affects all of our lives. It will premiere on October 23.

Lastly, Zoe Saldana’s “My Hero” will premiere on October 24, featuring Saldana herself as she pays a visit to someone in her personal history who changed her life for the better.

AOL has a few more original series in the works, including “That’s Racist,” featuring Mike Epps, “Connected,” an NYC-based reality show, and documentary series “Inspired.” Original series currently on the network include “Making a Scene with James Franco,” which just debuted across AOL On platforms.

All of these shows were originally previewed by AOL during its 2014 Newfront.
