Arcade Fire Uploads Highly-Antcipated New Album ‘Reflektor’ to YouTube
Canadian indie rock outfit Arcade Fire, ever the innovators, have released their much-anticipated album “Reflektor” on YouTube. Listed as a “Full Album Teaser,” the album is currently streaming as the backing track for 1959 film “Black Orpheus,” which (intentionally or not) syncs up almost perfectly with “Reflektor.”
The album was uploaded to Arcade Fire’s YouTube last night in preparation for the official launch of “Reflektor” on October 28. Already, the album is being praised as a masterpiece by dozens of music critics. The band had high expectations though, their previous album “The Suburbs” won a Grammy for album of the year in 2011.
It’s unclear how long “Reflektor” will stream on YouTube, so check it out below before it’s too late.
