AwesomenessTV Pairs with Fashion Retailer Wet Seal on New Reality Series
Wet Seal, a specialty retailer for young women, has teamed up with teen-focused YouTube network AwesomenessTV on a reality web series called “The Intern.”
The show, which debuted on AwesomenessTV’s flagship YouTube channel on November 25, follows two new Wet Seal interns at the company’s headquarters Foothill Ranch, California. Over the course of three more episodes, which will air once a week through the rest of December, the show will document the challenges faced by the two girls as they look to begin their career in fashion.
“The Intern” was produced for Wet Seal by AwesomenessTV, whose main YouTube channel recently topped 1 million subscribers, many of whom are tweens and teenagers.
“Wet Seal is a brand that teens love, and ‘The Intern’ allows us to offer our AwesomenessTV audience not only an entertaining new series, but also an insider’s look at what it takes to score an internship in fashion,” said Brian Robbins, founder and CEO of AwesomenessTV, in a statement. “We are committed to working with brands like Wet Seal that connect with our audience to build meaningful partnerships, but more importantly, engaging content that resonates with teens.”
