Believe Entertainment Group Makes Two Key Hires
Digital studio Believe Entertainment Group has hired Evan Fleischer as its new executive vice president of brand partnerships and business development, and Shane McGrath as its new executive vice president of ad sales.
Coming from SundanceTV, where he was VP of integrated marketing and branded entertainment, Fleischer will now oversee Believe Entertainment’s brand and distribution partnerships. In the role, he’s tasked with developing new ways for brands to integrate into the studio’s content and media platforms.
Prior to SundanceTV, Fleischer was a senior partner at MEC Entertainment, where he developed and produced original TV series, digital content, and films. Before that, he was VP of marketing and promotions at IFC, and VP of branded entertainment at Heavy.com — which is to say, he has some experience on this front.
McGrath’s role, meanwhile, is a new one at Believe Entertainment. He will oversee the studio’s sales team, including the selling and building of “infrastructure around the sales process.” He’s also now responsible for taking each of the studio’s new and existing properties to market.
Believe Entertainment is the studio behind celebrity-driven digital series like “The LeBrons” (with LeBron James), “In the Booth” (with DJ Tiesto), and “Money Where Your Mouth Is” (with Jay Mohr).
McGrath comes to Believe Entertainment from The C4 Group, where he was a partner. Previous roles include VP and head of North American sales for RedLever, VP of sales, marketing, and business development for Omnicom’s Full Circle Entertainment, VP of development and production for Angela Lansbury’s production company Corymore Entertainment, and five years as an agent at ICM.
Based in New York, both will report to Believe Entertainment Group co-founders Dan Goodman and William H. Masterson III and partner Danny Fishman.Tags: Believe Entertainment Group, Evan Fleischer, Exec Moves, Movers, Shane McGrath
