Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry Join Netflix’s ‘Grace and Frankie’
Netflix’s upcoming comedy series “Grace and Frankie,” which comes from “Friends” co-creator Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, continues to grow its cast with the addition of Brooklyn Decker and Ethan Embry. The two join an impressive cast list that already includes Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in the titular roles, Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston playing their husbands, and June Diane Raphael.
Set to debut in 2015, the comedy tells the story of two women, enemies for a long time, whose lives become intertwined when their husbands reveal that they love each other and plan to get married.
Decker has been picked to play the younger daughter of Fonda and Sheen’s characters. Her character, Mallory, modeled her marriage after her parents, and now that their relationship has fallen apart, she doubts the choices she’s made in her life. June Diane Raphael will be playing her rebellious older sister.
Embry, meanwhile, play Coyote, the charismatic, self-destructive son of the other former-couple at the center of the show.
Written by Kauffman and Morris, “Grace and Frankie” will be executive produced by Kauffman, Morris, Fonda, Tomlin, Paula Weinstein, and David Ellison of Skydance Productions. Tate Taylor, who is also executive producing, will also direct.Tags: Brooklyn Decker, Casting, comedy, Ethan Embry, grace and frankie, Howard J.
