‘Cook Taste Eat’ Added to Net2TV’s Portico TV
Net2TV has forged a new agreement with “Cook Taste Eat” to condense its multi-course instructional videos into weekly 30-minute shows on its Portico TV service. The series is regularly hosted by Michelin-star recipient and James Beard Award winner Michael Mina, but also features guests (frequently Michelle Branch) and other acclaimed chefs (such as Michael Chiarello, Traci Des Jardins, and Mary Sue Milliken).
Net2TV produces ad-free, program length shows for Portico TV on internet-connected TVs by repackaging shorter videos from creators like Revision3, Chow.com, Popular Science, and more in a traditional 30-minute format. Speaking on the new partnership and show lengths, Mina said, “We want to inspire home cooks to make dishes that are bold and balanced. Portico TV offers us a way to bring that inspiration to life for television viewers.”
The most recent addition to Portico TV included Webby Award winning CelebTV. But for a preview of what “Cook Taste Eat” will likely look like on Portico, click the trailer below.Tags: Cook Taste Eat, cooking shows, instructional videos, Michael Mina, Michelle Branch, Net2TV, Portico
