Crackle Gives Milo Ventimiglia-Starring ‘Chosen’ a Third Season
Crackle has given the greenlight to a third season of its original mystery/thriller series, “Chosen,” a day before season two premieres on the streaming service.
Executive produced by and starring Milo Ventimiglia (“Heroes”), “Chosen” tells the story of a father who is instructed to kill a stranger if he wants to save his kidnapped daughter’s life. The first season focused on the character’s race to save his daughter, while the second season expands the scope to others who have been in the same predicament.
Season three will begin production in Los Angeles on December 18, with Ventimiglia returning as executive producer alongside series creators Ben Ketai (“Beneath”) and Ryan Lewis (“High School”) of Dissident Pictures. Written by Evan Charnov (“Lost Boys: The Thirst”) and Ketai, the third season will debut on all Crackle platforms in 2014.
Crackle hasn’t disclosed the cast for season three yet. Season two will feature the likes of Ventimiglia, Chad Michael Murray (“One Tree Hill”), Nicky Whelan (“Scrubs”), and Brandon Routh (“Superman Returns”).Tags: Brandon Routh, Chad Michael Murray, Crackle, Milo Ventimiglia, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Pictures Television
