Crackle Sets Premiere Date for ‘Comedians in Cars’ Season 5
“Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” the Webby-winning series from Crackle and Jerry Seinfeld, will return for a fifth season on November 6.
Guests scheduled to pal around with Seinfeld in the fresh crop of episodes include Fred Armisen (“Portlandia”), Jimmy Fallon, Bill Burr (“Kroll Show”), Kevin Hart (“Ride Along”), Amy Schumer (“Inside Amy Schumer”), and Ali Wentworth (“In Living Color”). Colleen Ballinge of the web series “Hipsterhood” will also appear in the coming season.
As with previous seasons, all episodes of “Comedians” will be available via Crackle and the its website.
Since its debut in July 2012, the show has generated nearly 70 million streams, and a few award wins and nominations, including two Primetime Emmy nominations in the Short-Format Nonfiction Programs category. It’s produced by Embassy Row, which is a Sony Pictures Television company.
