First Look! Crackle’s ‘Chosen’ to Return on April 15
After debuting the second season of “Chosen,” a mystery-thriller series executive produced by and starring Milo Ventimiglia (“Heroes”), in December, Crackle is ready to get going with season three.
The show centers on various individuals who are instructed by a mysterious entity to kill someone, or face losing one of their loved ones. The first two seasons followed Ventimiglia and co-star Chad Michael Murray’s (“One Tree Hill”) characters.
Season three, which will premiere on the ad-supported streaming service on Tuesday, April 15, will also welcome Rose McGowan (“Charmed”) to the cast as a suburban mom who’s also a deadly hunter. The season will also bring back cast members Brandon Routh (“Superman Returns”), Sarah Roemer (“Disturbia”), and Caitlin Carmichael (“Criminal Minds”).
Spanning six half-hour episodes, “Chosen” season three is executive produced by Ventimiglia alongside creators Ben Ketai and Ryan Lewis. The season went into production in mid-December with Evan Charnov and Ketai serving as writers and Toby Wilkins (“Teen Wolf”) directing. All six episodes will premiere at once on Crackle.
