DanceOn to Mix Jamba Juice into ‘The Edge’
Jamba Juice will be featured in an upcoming episode of “The Edge,” a documentary series from YouTube dance network DanceOn that spotlights dancers who perform with some of the biggest entertainers in the world.
Jamba Juice’s juices and smoothies will be used as the refreshment of choice for the performers in the episode, which will air on DanceOn’s YouTube channel in July. Previous episodes of “The Edge” have featured DanceOn co-founder Madonna, as well as superstars like David Guetta and Justin Bieber.
The integration is part of a broader deal DanceOn has with Jamba Juice, of which the centerpiece is a health-focused online contest called “Blend the Good.”
Described as a “summer dance movement,” the “Blend the Good” campaign will encourage DanceOn’s audience to submit dance videos for a chance at multiple prizes. Running through August 31, one winner will be selected by Jamba Juice and DanceOn every month, receiving a trip for two to a dance experience of their choice — a Broadway show, a taping of “So You Think You Can Dance,” among others — as well as having their videos promoted by DanceOn and Jamba Juice.
“We’re looking forward to tapping into the passionate dancers on YouTube and their engaged online communities,” said Julie S. Washington, SVP and chief brand officer at Jamba Juice. “Through original programming like ‘The Edge,’ as well as a co-branded competition driving user-generated content, Jamba Juice will be a part of conversations that matter to them.”Tags: Branded Integration, Dance, DanceOn, Documentary Series, Jamba Juice, MCN, music, The Edge
