Defy Media Teams with Cotton Inc. on New Branded Style Series

Defy Media has partnered with Cotton Incorporated to launch “Phases of Fashion,” a four-part branded style series hosted by “Project Runway” judge Nina Garcia.

In the four-parter, which launches this week and will run through the rest of December, Garcia will visit three young TV personalities and advise them on how cotton can improve their existing style and fashion choices. Featured guests will include Chloe Bridges (The CW’s “The Carrie Diaries”), Annaleigh Ashford (Showtime’s “Masters of Sex”), and Cari Champion (host of ESPN’s “First Take”). At the end of the first three episodes, each of the guests will receive a new outfit, tailored to their style tendencies but with the added benefit of cotton.

The fourth episode will be a documentary-style look-back at “iconic Cotton fashion moments” over the past 50 years. It will include archival footage paired with interviews with Garcia and other fashion experts and celebrities.

“Phases of Fashion” will live on Defy Media’s Clevver Style channel through the end of December. Defy says it plans to run media across targeted sites within its digital media network, as well as provide additional editorial and social promotion. This is the second branded partnership between Defy and Cotton Incorporated. Back in 2012, when one-half of Defy Media was known as Alloy Digital, the company partnered with Cotton on an integration in the web series “Style Rules with Rachel Zoe.”
