Denny’s to Serve Up ‘Grand Slam’-Inspired Branded Series
The latest brand to get into the web-series game is Denny’s. The breakfast giant has teamed up with Seth Green’s production company Stoopid Buddy Studios (“Robot Chicken”) to create a new animated web series called “The Grand Slams.”
Based on Denny’s flagship “Grand Slam” dish, the show will center on four characters — Egg, Pancake, Sausage, and Bacon — and their everyday adventures in and around a booth at the restaurant.
Starting October 15, the series will stream on TheGrandSlams.com and on Denny’s YouTube channel. Episodes will roll out through January.
“As we continue to grow as a brand and engage with our millennial audience both on-and-offline, it is important we extend conversations beyond our diner walls and into the social world where they live and breathe,” said John Dillon, VP of marketing for Denny’s.
