DramaFever Partners with Well Go USA for Movie Content

DramaFever has partnered with film distributor Well Go USA Entertainment to bring feature-length films to the streaming video platform. Per the deal, Well Go will license a slate of action films from its library to DramaFever each month.

Well Go titles currently on DramaFever include “A Better Tomorrow,” “Kung Fu Dunk,” “The Man from Nowhere,” and “Shaolin.” With more ready to roll out in the coming months, films set for definite August, September, and October releases include “Triple Tap,” “1911,” and “Yakuza Weapon,” respectively.

Well Go USA’s SVP of digital, theatrical distribution, and marketing, Jason Pfardrescher, explained of the partnership, “DramaFever’s subscribers are part of a loyal and growing audience that can’t get enough premium content — averaging around 50 hours of viewing per month. Tapping into these viewers, and the young demographic that DramaFever attracts, is an important part of our distribution strategy.”

DramaFever says it currently averages 21 million unique monthly views across its owned and operated and syndication platforms. Most come from an 18 to 24-year-old demographic.

Overall, Well Go tends to release five-to-eight films each month across theatrical, linear television, VOD, and online outlets.
