Driver Digital Brings Family-Friendly Channels to Roku
Cool School, which currently boasts almost 73,000 subscribers on YouTube, features various educational and purely entertaining kids’ content, both animated and live action. The channel recently launched a series called “The Story Circle,” which features prominent YouTube families such as The Nive Nulls. (This show will not be available as of now on the Roku app.)
Meanwhile, “The Rundown” appears as a weekly show on Driver’s network. Targeted towards “tweens,” the show centers on celebrity culture.
This will most likely not be the last of Driver Digital’s content to wind up on a TV streaming device. As the company’s VP of sales, Derek Sentner, put it, “We’re exploring additional ways to get Driver Digital’s programming out to a wider audience as viewing behavior changes from traditional broadcast to digital, mobile, and connected TV’s.”
Updated to clarify that “The Story Circle,” while available on Cool School on YouTube, won’t be available on the channel’s Roku app.Tags: cool school, driver digital, family, future today inc., Roku, the Rundown, youtube, YouTube Creators
