Elden Henson Marks Latest Addition to Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’
So far, D’Onofrio has been named Wilson Frisk for the upcoming series, Matt Murdock/Daredevil’s archenemy. Henson will take on the role of Foggy Nelson, the sidekick to Matt Murdock, played by Cox. Henson’s past productions include “The Hunger Games” and “Mighty Ducks.”
“He perfectly captures the heart and soul of this series, bringing an added resonance to Matt Murdock’s fight against the injustice in their great city,” stated Jeph Loeb, head of television at Marvel, of the latest cast member.
Marvel Television and ABC Studios are producing “Daredevil” for Netflix. “Daredevil” marks just the first of four total original series that Marvel will create directly for the streaming service, this one executively produced by Loeb, showrunner Steven S. DeKnight of “Spartacus,” and Drew Goddard of “Cabin in the Woods.”
Goddard will also script the first, two episodes of “Daredevil.” Much of the series will be shot on-location in New York.Tags: ABC Studios, Charlie Cox, Daredevil, Drew Goddard, elden henson, foggy nelson, Marvel, Marvel Television, Matt Murdock, Netflix, Netflix Original Series, Rosario Dawson, Steven S.
