Endemol USA and Blizzard Entertainment Launch ‘World of Warcraft’-Themed Competition Series
Endemol USA has partnered with “American Chopper” star Paul Jr. and Blizzard Entertainment, the gaming studio behind the blockbuster “World of Warcraft” franchise, to launch a reality-competition series called “Azeroth Chopper.”
The show, which premiered last week on the World of Warcraft YouTube channel, pits two teams of expert designers against each other to create a model for a new motorcycle. The teams were hand-selected by Paul Jr. Designs and are tasked with designing a bike based on the two warring factions at the center of “World of Warcraft”: the Alliance and the Horde. The winning design, voted on by fans, will be featured in “World of Warcraft” as a free in-game mount.
Eight episodes in total are planned, with a new installment premiering every Thursday. The seventh episode will feature the final design by each of the teams. Fans can then go to AzerothChoppers.com to vote on their favorite, which will be unveiled during the series finale.
The series is produced by Endemol USA for Blizzard Entertainment.
