Federated Media to Emphasize Branded Content with New Hires

Federated Media just made two new hires to amp up its video development and strategy, putting a new importance on branded content.

Coming from her position as the VP of strategic TV networks’ partnerships at Machinima, Debbie Menin will now head video business development at Federated Media. Menin has experience running a national video sales team at Machinima, in addition to leading the entertainment and travel categories for Yahoo.

Menin has also worked at Huffington Post and Conde Nast’s Parade magazine, in both print and digital sections. On the TV end, she’s held positions at MTV Networks, E-Zone Networks, and College TV Network.

Alyssa Vitrano joins Federated Media as the executive producer of video strategy after over 15 years as a content producer in a variety of media, including digital. Vitrano’s new position entails leading the development and production of video projects at Federated Media.

Like Menin, Vitrano spent time working at MTV (as a talent director and news producer). Her former work in digital extends to development and production at IMG Entertainment. No stranger to branded content, Vitrano’s experience at Mindshare found her overseeing content for the likes of American Express and Bacardi.
