Freddie Wong’s ‘VGHS’ Season 3 Arrives on Netflix in April
Netflix will welcome the third season of “Video Game High School,” a popular live-action web series from YouTube star Freddie Wong, on April 13.
Created by Wong and Matt Arnold, and produced by Rocket Jump Studios and Collective Digital Studio, “Video Game High School” takes place in an alternate universe where video-gaming is the world’s biggest spectator sport. The series centers on a group of students at one of the most prestigious video-game academies.
Season three, which ran for six long episodes (roughly 40 minutes with an hour-long series finale), has more than 20.8 million views on YouTube, according to stats from Tubular Labs. The season was also available on Vimeo, which sold all episodes in advance of the YouTube premiere on October 13 of 2014.
Previous season of “VGHS” are also available on Netflix.
