WhoSay Adds Distribution on Huffington Post, Magazine App Flipboard

WhoSay is putting publishing in the hands of its celebrity users with a slate of new distribution partnerships.Beginning today, celebrities can post their photos, videos and messages directly to The Huffington Post and magazine app Flipboard. The company has also added distribution on messaging app Tango, which has more than 200 million downloads and has set itself apart from other free call-and-texts apps through its premium content channels that broadcast texts, videos and photos to users.

‘Peaky Blinders’ Returning To Netflix For Season 3 As Shelby Empire Expands

EXCLUSIVE: BBC Two has ordered a third series of the Steven Knight-created crime saga Peaky Blinders, and as with Seasons 1 and 2, Netflix now is confirmed to be on board again. The streaming service will air Season 3 in the U.S. after BBC Two transmits; no date has been set.

China’s Youku Tudou Posts Lower Quarterly Loss
Chinese online video giant Youku Tudou reported a strong rise in third-quarter revenues and continued a trend of narrowed losses and said the establishment of its new film unit, Heyi Pictures, was a highlight of the quarter.

Facebook wants to compete with YouTube in video, so it’s asking for a little help from its media company friends — and even a few YouTube stars.The social network has in recent months been wooing publishers’ video teams, selling them on the advantages of uploading videos directly to Facebook’s proprietary video player.
