Fullscreen Signs Vlogger ThatSoJack
Fullscreen has inked a deal to manage Jack Baran, a YouTube vlogger behind the ThatSoJack channel. The creator, known for a vlogging style that includes “video tell-alls” and pop culture rants, reaches more than 905,000 subscribers on YouTube. That reach extends to Twitter and Instagram, where he has 895,000 and 744,000 followers, respectively.
As a “360-client,” Fullscreen says it will help Baran secure brand deals as well as pursue opportunities in traditional media. Baran is interested in hosting and acting. Additionally, the vlogger is working with Fullscreen to develop and produce a podcast.
Baran’s YouTube channel will continue to be managed by DreamWorks Animation’s AwesomenessTV. Though he is the second notable AwesomenessTV star — after Jenn McAllister, better known as JennXPenn (1.4 million subscribers) — to sign a talent deal with Fullscreen.
At Fullscreen, Baran will be managed by Andrew Graham and Rana Zand.
CORRECTION: This article has been updated to clarify that Baran’s YouTube channel is still under the oversight of AwesomenessTV. We apologize for the confusion.
