Fullscreen’s Jack Vale Partners with Chevy for Prank Video Campaign
In a prankster campaign that might just make you nervous about the powers of social media, Fullscreen’s Jack Vale has teamed up with Chevy and Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the auto brand’s Equinox…and perhaps freak out some innocent bystanders along the way.
The Equinox campaign showcases the car’s 4G wi-fi abilities by tracking down people on Hollywood Boulevard by selfies they’ve just taken on Instagram. Then, Vale and Jimmy Kimmel’s Guillermo Rodriguez use the information they find from these people’s Instagram’s profiles to make street-side conversation that will almost inevitably surprise them with personal knowledge.
The first video in this series went up on Jack Vale’s YouTube channel on September 18 (see below). Further videos of this ilk will appear on Vale’s channel through the end of October.
