GetGlue Now Tells You ‘What to Watch’ on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon
Social TV service GetGlue has released a new version of its iPhone app, which now includes a “What to Watch” feature that gives users access to the latest film and TV programming on various video streaming services. The app plugs into services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Instant Video, which ostensibly means that the original fare each company is producing for its platform will be available alongside their libraries of licensed TV shows and feature films. GetGlue also offers access to TV listings and new content on TV Everywhere apps from HBO Go, CBS, FOX, FX, and AMC.
A new video search/discovery feature allows users to browse programming by genre or curated lists handpicked by GetGlue’s editorial staff.
