Believe Entertainment Debuts Jay Mohr-Hosted Game-Show Series on Hulu
Hulu is debuting a new original game-show series today from Believe Entertainment Group called “Money Where Your Mouth Is.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Jay Mohr, the show pits three best friends against each other in a battle to determine which of the three has the highest “Guy-Q” — as in, knowledge of things that only dudes really care about. The competition is broken into three rounds, with each successive round focusing on “man-knowledge trivia,” “complex man-skills,” and “settling age-old man debates.”
“My new show is a way for guys to take all that pent-up ‘man knowledge’ and use it to compete with their friends to win their favorite stuff,” said Mohr in a statement. “It’s the kind of information our wives and girlfriends consider utterly useless, but we know as guys is critically important stuff — like building furniture without instructions, knowing every sports stat and movie or TV quote known to mankind, and finally settling age-old man-debates like who would be a better wife and mother to your child, Lara Croft or Wonder Woman?”
Executive produced by Believe Entertainment’s Dan Goodman, William H. Masterson III, and Danny Fishman, “Money Where Your Mouth Is” will roll out new episodes every Monday for the next 10 weeks, with each episode running for roughly 15 minutes. Barry Katz and Mohr also serve as executive producers.
Campbell’s Chunky has signed on as the series’ anchor brand sponsor.
Other original programming created and produced by Believe Entertainment Group include the Tiesto-starring “In the Booth” on YouTube and animated show “The LeBrons” for Xbox.
