IAWTV Partners with NAB Show, Moves Annual Awards Show to April
Coming up on its fourth year, the IAWTV Awards, which seek to recognize the best in online video programming, are moving to April, to coincide with the annual NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Show.
Developed and produced by the International Academy of Web Television in partnership with New Media Expo, the fourth annual IAWTV Awards will take place on April 15, 2015 in Las Vegas. As usual, the program will be preceded by a red carpet special, all of which will be streamed online. The red carpet will begin at 4:30pm PT, with the awards show to follow at 8pm PT.
In previous years, the IAWTV Awards coincided with CES, which traditionally takes place during the first week of January in Las Vegas.
Next year’s awards program will be overseen by Jonathan Robbins, who’s heading up the 2015 IAWTV Awards committee. He will be helped by IAWTV board members April Grant and Amanda Shockey.
Also announced, Jeff Burns, creator of the IAWTV-winning web series “Super Geeked Up,” will be succeeding J. Sibley Law as chairman of the IAWTV.Tags: 2015 IAWTV Awards, CES, IAWTV, IAWTV Awards, NAB, NAB Show, New Media Expo, NMX, web series
