Janeane Garofalo, Kristen Connolly to Guest Star on Season Two of Ingrid Jungermann’s ‘F to 7th’
Indie filmmaker Ingrid Jungermann’s comedy web series, “F to 7th,” returns for a second season on May 5.
Distributed via the show’s YouTube channel, the comedy scripts Jungermann’s “descent into pre-middle age,” covering topics such as family, sexuality, and being too old for the times.
“The humor in this season is a bit more wicked than the last,” says the filmmaker, who wrote and directed the entire second season. “It explores how fragile your self-worth is when it comes to family, and how easy it is to regress into the child you used to be. I believe the best comedy comes from exposing your darkest secrets and inviting an audience to laugh with you.”
Starring Jungermann, season two of “F to 7th” also brings with it an impressive guest cast. Among those set to appear across the season’s eight episodes: Annette O’Toole (“Smallville”), Ashlie Atkinson (“The Wolf of Wall Street”), Bruce Altman (“Matchstick Men”), Olympia Dukakis (“Moonstruck”), Janeane Garofalo (“Reality Bites”), and Kristen Connolly (“House of Cards”).
Season two was funded via the Spike Lee Production Award. The show’s produced by Charlotte Wells, Alex Scharfman, and Rachel Wolther, and executive produced by Jason Klorfein. Jungermann is also developing “The Outlier,” a TV-show version of “F to 7th.”
New episodes of the show will roll out on YouTube every Monday and Thursday following its May 5th premiere.
