Josh Rimer’s YouTube Series Now Airing on Canadian TV
YouTube creator Josh Rimer is taking his digital show, “The Sassy Scoop,” to Canadian television. His web series chronicling viral videos and featuring a variety of “top 10” lists will now air on OUTtv, a channel targeted towards the LGBTQ demographic up north.
“The Sassy Scoop,” made short for the web (about two to three minutes per episode), will feature as interstitial content on OUTtv, which has over 1.2 million Canadian subscribers. Rimer himself hosts the series, boasting almost 19,000 subscribers on YouTube for episodes he’s been posting every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday for the past six months.
“When OUTtv expressed interest in bringing the show to a TV audience as well, I was thrilled at the opportunity to reach both internet and television viewers,” Rimer said.
“The Sassy Scoop” will air a number of times each day on OUTtv between network television shows as well as on Rimer’s YouTube channel.Tags: Canada, interstitial content, josh rimer, lgbtq, network television, outtv, the sassy scoop, youtube, YouTube Creators
