Just For Laughs Gets Optimized by Studio71 for Content and Brand Deals

Multi-channel network Studio71  announced today that it is partnering with the Just For Laughs Group to develop digital content initiatives under the Just For Laughs brand, as well as help the company optimize its content and secure advertising brand deals.

Just For Laughs was previously partnered with Makers Studios.

As part of the deal, Studio71 will co-produce content from this year’s edition of the 34-year-old Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal in July.

The Just For Laughs Group also has divisions focused on television production, live shows and talent management. Its television franchise “Just for Laughs Gags” has been seen in 135 countries (and on 95 airlines), as well as its YouTube channel, which has racked up more than 5.2 million subscribers and 2.3 billion views.

Its lineup of YouTube stars and social media influencers includes Lilly Singh (a.k.a. IISuperwomanII), Epic Meal Time, Viner Logan PaulRhett and Link and Snapchatter Shonduras.  Headquartered in Berlin and Los Angeles, with offices in New York, Detroit, San Francisco, Toronto, London and Vienna, the company oversees everything from series development to merchandise. It has also worked with major brands including Aeropostale, Coca-Cola, Dunkin Donuts, Estee Lauder, Nissan, Wendy’s and Verizon.
