Legendary Entertainment’s Tom Lesinski Steps Down
Legendary Entertainment’s Tom Lesinski has left his post as the president of digital content and distribution for the company.
At Legendary, Lesinski worked under Bruce Rosemblum, the president of TV and digital media. Legendary hired Lesinski in September 2013.
Though neither Lesinski nor Legendary commented on the departure, the former leaves to focus more on digital production, according to Nikki Finke, who first reported. He plans to start a digital production company with a first-look deal at Legendary.
Before working at Legendary, Lesinski founded Paramount Digital Entertainment, previously having served as the president of worldwide home entertainment at the production company.
Lesinski exits as Legendary works on a feature-length digital adaptation of Capcom’s “Dead Rising” gaming franchise. This marks Legendary’s digital division’s first ever release.Tags: Capcom, dead rising, Legendary Entertainment, Paramount Digital Entertainment, tom lesinski
