Legendary Names Carlos Sanchez VP of Distribution for Latin America
Legendary Television has named Carlos Sanchez vice president of distribution for Latin America.
In the role, Sanchez, who will be based in Legendary’s Burbank office, will oversee distribution of Legendary’s TV and digital content for Latin America as well as the US Hispanic market. He will report to the studio’s president of worldwide distribution Michael Grindon.
Most recently, Sanchez was the executive director of The Americas for Warner Bros. Digital. There, he was responsible for the studio’s digital business in Latin America. Before that, he was a regional marketing director within the Warner Home Division.
Legendary, meanwhile, is actively growing its digital business. Earlier this year, the studio acquired both Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry studio/network, as well as Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls at the Party. It also owns Chris Hardwick’s Nerdist Industries, and is in production on its first feature-length digital film, “Dead Rising: Watchtower,” which will air on Crackle in 2015.Tags: Carlos Sanchez, Crackle, Exec Moves, Latin America, Legendary Entertainment, Legendary Television, Movers, Warner Bros.
