Linda Cardellini Joins Cast of Untitled Netflix Drama from Creators of ‘Damages’
Linda Cardellini (“Mad Men”) has joined the cast of an untitled Netflix drama from the creators of “Damages.” She joins previously announced cast members Kyle Chandler (“Friday Night Lights”) and Ben Mendelsohn (“The Dark Knight Rises”).
Written and executive produced by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman, and Glenn Kessler, the creators of the Emmy-nominated FX drama “Damages,” the project is a psychological family thriller about a family whose secrets are revealed when the black sheep brother returns home. Mendelsohn will play the oldest brother, while Chandler is on board as the married middle brother who’s in charge of the dysfunctional family. Cardellini will play the youngest sibling, a skilled attorney guarding untold secrets.
Cardellini, who received an Emmy nomination for her turn as Don Draper’s mistress Sylvia on “Mad Men,” is repped by ICM Partners and Mosaic Media.
Netflix has ordered a 13-episode first season of the untitled project. Filming is set to begin in Florida in late March. At some point, the name will also be revealed, one assumes.Tags: Casting, Damages, Daniel Zelman, Emmy, FX, Glenn Kessler, Netflix, netflix originals, Todd A. Kessler
