Major League Gaming Nabs PewDiePie’s Podcast ‘BroKen’
This will happen by way of future episodes of Kjellberg’s podcast series, “BroKen,” debuting exclusively on Major League Gaming’s platform starting the evening of September 15. After initially streaming on MLG, the podcast will become available to audiences on other digital platforms, as well.
“BroKen” features Kjellberg, of course, along with his friend and fellow YouTube creator known as CinnamonToastKen as they talk about YouTube, gaming, and more. The podcast includes an interactive element, as viewers can communicate with the hosts via MLG’s Twitter (@MLG) using #BroKen and by taking advantage of MLG’s chat feature.
Having started in 2013, MLG’s digital platform now seeks to take on more content from major creators like Kjellberg. As Ryan Wyatt, MLG’s vice president of programming, explained, “Our vision for MLG.tv is to make it the home for premium content and producers like PewDiePie and his show, ‘BroKen.’ This type of programming deal with PewDiePie, one of the biggest stars in digital media, is a great example of the premier talent we have joining the growing MLG.tv lineup.”
MLG has not yet announced when subsequent episodes of “BroKen” will appear on the platform. As of now, Kjellberg joins other YouTube creators, Call of Duty gamers Nadeshot and Scumpi, and OpTic Gaming on MLG.Tags: broken, Call of Duty, cinnamontoastken, Felix Kjellberg, Gamers, gaming, major league gaming, mlg.tv, optic gaming, PewDiePie, podcast, youtube, YouTube Creators
