Meredith Spoofs Dad Fails in ‘Lords of the Playground’
Meredith, through its Meredith Originals division, is launching multiple new web series this year, beginning with today’s premiere of the dad-comedy “Lords of the Playground.”
Created in partnership with Parents magazine, “Lords of the Playground” looks to spoof everyday dad pitfalls. Spanning 11 short episodes, the first season is headlined by actors Matt Servitto (“The Sopranos”) and Jason Kravits (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”). New episodes will be made available on Parents.com on Wednesdays.
The show begins Meredith’s year in original video programming. Following “Lords of the Playground,” the company will debut five more shows in 2014:
