Mitch Hurwitz Is Giving ‘Arrested Development’ Season 4 a Makeover
“Arrested Development” creator Mitch Hurwitz discussed his reasons for re-editing the fourth season into chronological order in a recent interview with Pretentious Film Majors.
That particular season, which debuted on Netflix in May 2013, followed the Bluth family through the stories of each individual character rather than following a linear plot, which Hurwitz will change through the updated edits.
Hurwitz didn’t otherwise comment much on the re-structured fourth season of “Arrested Development” in the interview, but he went on to talk about the potential for season five. Though Hurwitz hopes that a fifth season will happen someday, he notes that “20th Century Fox owns the rights to this thing.”
