‘What’s Trending’ and Ford Bring YouTubers Together for Second ‘Tube-A-Thon’

Emmy-nominated YouTube series “What’s Trending” is partnering with Ford and its Fiesta Movement social campaign to organize and produce the second annual “Tube-A-Thon,” a two-hour digital telethon benefiting the children’s charity organization Covenant House.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford to Host His Own Web Series

Rob Ford is having a month to remember (or forget in a drug-fueled haze). Now that he’s been stripped of pretty much all of his powers as mayor of Toronto, Ford needs something else to do — and it looks like that something else is a new web series. 


Chromecast purchases include $6 Google Play credit for limited time

It can’t quite match three months of Netflix, but Google is rewarding Chromecast buyers with a new bonus for the holidays: $6 in Google Play credit. Starting now and running through December 7th, you’ll get the Play credit when purchasing Chromecast from retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and Google itself.

Comedy Central’s CC: Studios released the first trailer for its new web series, Strong Island

The show follows two brothers living on Long Island, and is one of six web series the network is planning for the coming year. Strong Island premieres Dec. 6; the trailer can be watched at the CC: Studios site and its YouTube channel.
