Netflix Sets Premiere Date for ‘House of Cards’ Season 3
Frank Underwood and company will be back for a third round on Netflix in early 2015. The streaming service has announced the premiere date for season three of its celebrated political drama “House of Cards,” which will debut across all Netflix territories on February 27, 2015.
The announcement was made by Netflix on the Facebook and Twitter pages for “House of Cards.” Both posts are armed with a short teaser, which show Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright’s characters about to enter Air Force One.
By now you’re familiar with “House of Cards,” and its importance to Netflix and the online video and TV industries. Adapted by Beau Willimon and produced by Media Rights Capital, Netflix famously paid $100 million to net the first two seasons of the show.
