Univision’s Flama Debuts NY-Based Comedy Series ‘The Bodega’
Univision and Bedrocket’s Flama is home to a new original, comedy series “The Bodega.” The scripted show follows a pair of brothers who have to work at their Dominican father’s NYC bodega, where they try to pull off a number of get-rich-quick schemes.
Sponsored by Trojan Brand Condoms, the 10-episode series rolls out new episodes every Wednesday. The third comes out later today on Flama’s website.
New Wave Entertainment produced the series, which was filmed in New York’s Washington Heights.
Flama’s over-the-top network, launched by Univision earlier this year in partnership with Bedrocket, focuses on creating and curating digital video for Hispanic millennials.
