Nominees for Fifth Annual Indie Series Awards Unveiled

/ Feb 11, 2014

The fifth annual Indie Series Awards’ nominees were announced earlier this morning in an episode of “We Love Soaps TV.” Celebrating independent shows written and produced for the web, the ISAs have more shows nominated this year than ever before. Fifty-six different web series received nominations, marking a record high for the ceremony.

In spite of all the series considered, “Hustling” led the way with nine nominations, with “Out With Dads” not far behind with eight nominations. Other shows that received multiple nominations include “Thurston” (six), “Wrecked” (seven), “Bloomers” (six) and CW Seed’s “Husbands” (six).

The ISAs are scheduled to take place on April 2nd at North Hollywood’s old El Portal Theater. Carolyn Hennesy, also a nominee for best comedic guest star on “Single Siblings,” will serve as host for the ceremony.
